The UAE supports real genocidal civil war in Sudan with millions displaced and hundreds of thousands of deaths. where is the outrage. where is the direct action? China's genocide on the Uighers. what are you doing about that? people want to take direct action they should face the consequences. if you care about climate change and think it will lead to global catastrophe and you go to an art museum and throw paint on a famous, invaluable painting ( i am not sure what the rationale for this is, but it is a thing) should you go to jail? or can you say, i am defending the planet so i can fuck up this painting?

her reference to "plausibility" in the ICJ order referred to the Palestinians' right under the Genocide Convention to be protected from genocide and South Africa's right to bring the case, Not the plausibility of the allegation that Isreal is committing genocide.
So why weren't they charged with that, held under normal conditions in jail (not as "terrorists - even though PA wasn't a supposedly " terrorist group" when they were arrested) and why was the weight of the govt, the judicial ststem and the press used to squash their human rights? If they'd broken into ANYWHERE that wasn't Israeli backed they'd have got a £200 fine. Remember the guy who broke into BUCKINGHAM PALACE and was found in the queens bedroom? Why is breaking a few machines so much worse than endangering the life of the ruling Monarch? Because SHE wasn't owned by ISRAEL!
