The official narrative is that Trump is a bumbling idiot who was told by his real estate son in law to attack Iran killing the Ayatollah & believing Iran would not retaliate.

The reality is that the military industrial complex has been planning this war & the retaliation for decades in order to once more remove our freedoms.

This has nothing to do with the freedom of the people of Iran and everything to do with the class war of the Western oligarchy against the lower & middle working classes of the West.

High oil prices are a tax. Energy Lockdowns are a control device.

They will happen, they just need to slow it down so people get used to it first.

I’ve read and seen more these last two years than in the 60+ years before that. Everyday another atrocity, scandal. Outrageous crime, acts are committed, and at the heart of it, a MSM failing to tell the truth, Even actively supporting criminals and liars. And now our right to protest and our rights to a fair trial by jury are gone. We were warned, we’ve fought and marched, but in vain. Too many are complacent or ignorant. BDSbarb

I have inquired of the BBC by email whether they intend to offer any coverage of the Raffi Berg/Owen Jones litigation, and if not, why not. Their press office responded by challenging my journalistic credentials, which to be honest are non-existent. Nevertheless, nowhere in our exchange did they deign to address their failure to impart the outcome of this hearing to their audience. Three days have now passed without the slightest mention. I urge readers of this column to send questions and comments to

ZIONIST 'ENTRYISM'/INFILTRATION OF UK GOVT & INSTITUTIONS

More the BBC (and THE GUARDIAN) will not be reporting:

'...The veneer of democracy and human rights in the UK has worn extremely thin.

The extent of Zionist domination of the UK government was shown in the astonishing decision to ban the annual al-Quds march for Palestine, which has been taking place for 47 years without incident.

The Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Sarah Sackman, called for the demonstration to be banned...

'...Sackman worked as a clerk in the Supreme Court of Israel. She is a fanatical Zionist with a long-term financing record from the Zionist lobby. As “Courts minister” she has been the leading advocate for the government’s proposed abolition of many jury trials...'

HMG ALLOWING USA to load illegal cluster bombs on heavy bombers at UK airfields (breaking British law)

See:

'UK MILITARY REFUSES TO GIVE 'RUNNING COMMENTARY' ON IRAN CIVILIAN DEATHS'

'...Officials are also not commenting on whether target lists for so-called “defensive” US strikes from British soil are approved by the UK before each mission, or if they are audited afterwards.

'Further questions about whether the US uses artificial intelligence to compile these target lists, or whether it is allowed to load banned cluster bombs at UK bases, were rebuffed...'

What's telling is that this case inverts the normal accountability dynamic. Normally, public scrutiny of editors is a feature of press freedom, not a basis for litigation. A BBC editor using defamation law against a journalist who questioned the institution's editorial line on Gaza speaks to a broader pattern: institutional media increasingly treats criticism of its coverage as reputationally harmful rather than journalistically legitimate.

The question the BBC should be answering publicly isn't about Raffi Berg's reputation. It's about the editorial decisions that made Owen Jones's criticisms credible to so many people in the first place. That's what this case is actually about, and why the judge's ruling matters well beyond the two individuals involved.

Partial truths Jonathan.

Israel is merely carrying out US geopolitical aims. It is slated to take the blame for the US ambitions to control the Middle East, Syria, Iraq and Iran. Naturally the quid pro quo is that Israel has no sanctions placed on its genocidal violence. But the US also has no limits.

The US is deeply deceptive and always acts through proxies to hide its true ambitions.

As long as the UK is a vassal state of the US, so long will support for the US via Israel continue.

Jews in the US are now being targeted for getting the US into a war with Iran - when this has been a longstanding covert US foreign policy aim. (And of course Jews are attacked for their US licensed genocide in Gaza) Clever, eh?

Heartfelt thanks, Jonathan, once again for laying out the facts so clearly and thoroughly. It is completely shocking what the BBC and the Guardian have been, and still are, doing. i urge my friends and colleagues constantly to read you and Owen Jones to know what's really going on. So many still believe them to be honourable, 'balanced' sources.

I don't disagree, however Owen Jones is still happy to be on the payroll of The Grauniad

The BBC isn't a reliable news source exactly because of turds like Berg. No wonder so many people don't pay their TV licences.

Completely agree about the purpose of Lawfare. It’s not about winning in a court of law, it’s about punishment and deterrence. Relentless attacks that wear people down and frighten others into compliance.

The cold horror of what was done to Down's syndrome and autistic Muhammed Bahr. I saw a photo of his room; toys appropriate for a little kid. He might have been chronologically a 24 year old "man" but mentally a 3 or 4 year old. Imagine a child of that age, separated from family, ripped apart by an attack dog as Israeli troops watched. (Grand entertainment, right?) Then abandoned to die in agony alone.

Defend that, you disgusting, cowardly Zionist toadies!

dear rafi - may i pass on your vivid and humane comment to my friends and colleagues?

Yes. And thanks for asking.

Jonathan Cook and Owen Jones are not only first-class journalists but both seem to be among an ever shrinking minority who possess the necessary bottle to speak out publicly against the utterly banal and dire coverage the British public is served by our national broadcaster regarding the hideous conduct of both Israel and the US in recent months.
