In February 2024 there was an episode where a scientist was visiting an island in the Antartic where a lot of Adelie penguins used to live. (Emphasis on "used to") Now there were none. They had died out because now it rains there and the young Adelies get drenched. They shivver to warm up but this uses up all their energy, leaving them defenceless against bigger birds who kill and eat them.

So they knew all about them but still banked with them. They have not changed their bank since - remember, this was over two years ago!
