It would be good to hear some insider stories from the Guardian, as the criticism coming from some of the BBC's journalists has shown that even when journalists follow the principle of accuracy, the editorial teams shove their pieces back into a "balanced" framing (one that gives Israeli representations more credence than they factually deserve)

On Sunday Stuart Heritage said in his review of a programme about Settlers: 'Most notably, the peripheral glimpses of Israeli activists who protest against the settlements probably need more airtime, if only to demonstrate that this is a problem of individuals rather than an entire nation.' How did that past the editor?
I get what he means, but all the numbers and assessment I've seen - and made, suggest clearly that the problem IS the nation; those protestors are the inevitable exceptions, bless their brave hearts and souls.
