These last minute changes without any explanation seriously undermines the public s confidence in the independence and impartiality of this court. The judges newly appointed have proven to previously favour the government, why have there not been three non government senior judges appointed? Could there be a Judicial Review of the Judicial Review? I wonder if a complaint by the barristers for the defendants as legally there should be no involvement by anyone involved in the case to interfere with the judiciary in the case.
Surely, a leader should be one who models sound moral behaviour and decision-making. One who models strength balanced by humility, equity, justice and respect.
Surely, a political leader should be one who willingly and voluntarily chooses to stand aside from judicial involvement and maintain the integrity of the separation of powers.
Surely, a leader should be a caring, considerate, objective, intelligent, fair-minded human being who opposes prejudice, bigotry, division, hatred, difference ...
