u.s. media cannot be other than what it is. Militarism is in the very air breathed there.

No wonder it is forever so violent and Americans the heroes. Gun wars , murder, chopping of limbs and heads. Government intervention crushes the story and any talent. No wonder everything seems like the same story repeated over and over again. Getting so sick of its slickness. So nice to watch Small Prophets

Great article, thanks.

The aspect of the Oscars and who rates the movies, who wins the oscar and who stars in these movies, all manufactured by the Zionist (CIA/Mossad) regime.

The creation and 'maintaining' Hollywood, is alarming.

Credit to Jonathan Cook and Matthew Alford for spotlighting an uncomfortable truth: when the Pentagon helps shape Hollywood storytelling, war can be made to look normal, even necessary. It’s a reminder to watch more critically and question whose interests these narratives serve.

True, Jonathan deserves enormous credit. I knew of some interference, but had no idea the strangle hold was absolute.

Michael Parenti: "People who think they're free in this world just haven't come to the end of their leash yet." If you haven't watched it already, there is a documentary by John Pilger called "The War You Don't See": mainstream media and government interference to achieve the same goals.

We live in a sea of spin that is as invisible to people as water is to a fish. It is not that people don't want to know this, they want to not know.

As Gustave Le Bon pointed out, people do not hunger for truth, but prefer illusion.

Plus, people can't ever admit to being wrong. As Mark Twain is reputed to have said, "it is easier to fool people than to get them to understand that they have been fooled." How can we break through the barrier of confirmation bias?

Thankfully “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb” made it before the clampdown.

Kubrick made every film after Spartacus from his base in the UK. He didn't like interference from Hollywood.

Baz's avatar

Yeah but it was a co production with Columbia Pictures so my joke wasn’t entirely in vain ;-)

Yes. He just outsmarted the establishment whenever he needed them.

There is an excellent documentary from the Media Education Foundation called 'Theaters of War' that covers this. It's not just movies, it's ALL the media we've consumed for the last 60 years. Pentagon doesn't approve? Show or movie is then dead on arrival. Here's the trailer; the documentary is available on Kanopy (through your library):

made by the very same Matt Alford who does Jonathan’s readings. ;)

That's exactly the documentary this article is discussing.

Sorry, I'm an idiot who saved the article for later. I just wanted to share what I had before I forgot.

No worries- I do it all the time! You did right.

Have any Zionists worked for Hollywood? "As seen on TV" is an illness. One State Palestine.
