Yes, sadly it seems like a long road throughout history of the privileged, entitled, kings, queens, dictators and billionaires ruling over the lower classes. After the Second World War our family was not very wealthy, it took us many years working for low wages to get a proper home. Higher education was not easily available and the cost was high for larger families. So keeping people poor and under educated worked well for capitalism which exploited low wages. But today, education and homes are available for our children and most still can’t afford them, even a decent truck is almost $100,000.
With the Trump administration removing all EPA restrictions and blocking solar and wind power, their country will no longer be a safe place to visit. Drinking the water or breathing the air will be risky. Even food inspections, lack of vaccines, will make them a third world country. The sad thing is that too many people in Canada want the MAGA agenda here. The Alberta Separatists are being offered a $500 billion dollar line of credit from the US to become a sovereign country within our country. The greed for more money is insatiable for the wealthy manipulative crews.
We must prepare ourselves for a very chaotic year, it is the Year of the Fire Horse in the Japanese culture. People need to remain cool and calm during this fiery year. Hopefully they can do that.

Yes, it is more blessed to give than to receive if one is able to do that. Given the current situation for many people who are living pay check to pay check it’s harder than ever to save let alone give. We are fortunate so far in this country to not be too bad off, but I find it harder than ever to see any golden future for our children, and grandchildren. The level of increasing global warming, air pollution, financial uncertainty, and inflation is frightening. So yes, to keep our sanity during a Fire Horse year one must take time to calm the spirit and meditate on the good. Perhaps if enough of us meditate on the good and expect to see better things happening, reality will catch up and change too. All we can do is hope for a better future and work towards that even in the face of currant difficulties. Something our ancestors had to do during and after the WW1 and WW2 depression.

Oh no! That’s not fun, I lived in PA Saskatchewan for a few years. I worked at a lodge halfway between PA and Flint Flon Manitoba. It got to -60 F and wind chill. Made for nice Auroras but nothing else. Too cold! Here today it’s -5 C and windy, but manageable for sure.

It started under Margaret Thatcher's administration, who, unwittingly or not, acted as quislings for the US system to take over this country and make it part of their system: essentially groups of psycho-privateers (corporations, billionaires etc) to take over all the vital structures of people's lives and profit from them. That is what the US has become in it's development. That is what it is even though there are civil war like tensions among these groups at present.
This global network you forensically describe have been developing this system around the globe in this way: essentially using states as hubs to extract money, take over governments and their populations, control arms and police for control, controlling political parties and media to create theatre and cosplay to disguise their dark purposes - many novels and film have depicted these evil playbooks over millennia. Yet these ghouls now think they have the technology to succeed where past psychopaths failed.
As you correctly write, the lurid headlines around Epstein, Mandelson et al are being repurposed to distract from the fact that this small, yet highly organised powerful network are still there and have created hubs and chaos across the globe; wars, terrorism, genocide etc. They are still bedded in although major powers and populations are becoming more aware of what they have been doing for the last 40 years or so. The question is, if one thinks about them as a virus or parasite, how far are they layered in and will it be that only major internal crises or Armageddon will have a chance to shift them?
