The reason why Israel makes these claims that Palestinian journalists work for Hamas etc, and that why the western journalists accept such claims without any question is because almost all western and Israeli journalists are working for the M0ssad / C1A / M16. They cannot imagine any Palestinian journalists honestly doing their work.
"Our government" is not running "our" country. Our political system has been corporately-captured and does not operate with the interests of its citizens as its primary concern. This being the case, what good is just creating another impotent party in a system in which its influence is minimal? This would simply contribute to a continuation of the status quo? Israel is just a tip of a corporate iceberg. Many governments are corporately-captured and many of those corporations have boards of directors and senior management peopled by Zionists and Zionist sympathisers. Journalism is a pillar in democracy. As over 200 journalists have been killed while reporting on and in Gaza means they are reporting on extremely important events and consequences. People not wanting facts out who are killing journalists or ignoring their reports or deaths are very serious to investigate. Those who don't protect journalists are "in on it".

The BBC is disgusting on this in the way they frame all this, but so is Reuters, AP and many more. People in the so called west STILL do not understand that no correspondent operating inside Israel can ever tell the truth about anything the israeli govt doesnt want said. They operate under draconian censorship regulations there - and every single word and video that they send out to be published by their parent CNN, BBC, etc is pre censored by the genocidal Israeli regime.
