Great video, thanks. Very straightforward and truthful, I do understand the nuances and subtleties of storytelling and there is no easy answer, but I do feel ( sometimes ) Substack is the miner league and everyone is writing with an extraordinary amount of nuances just in case C N N calls , some times I turn to right wing media and learn a lot , for they are all in , right or wrong. I suppose that one must read the stuff everyone says to not read, great video, you never left yourself an out just in case you get THE CALL. 😁❤️🍉🇵🇸

Thank you for the clarity of your stance, Jonathan. Have you read how The Economist is wringing its hands about Israel being left "alone" with not a word about the horror inflicted on the Palestinians in its article? They even dismiss the use of the word genocide.

Wonderful, sir: you are the best of the best. I made a comment regarding your associated full-length analysis/commentary at https://www.globalresearch.ca/democracy-russian-style/5852710 ; I read it from top to bottom at one sitting. A tour de force, without any doubt.

I was following your work since the Iraq war. It seems that most of the sites I was visiting then have became cheerleaders for Ukraine. Thank you for your work!

The world knows the truth about what Western media and the government supporting the genocide of Palestine have done for many years it's a sad world we living hope one day they will hold accountable in court

Gaza as proof of who produces the real fake news - Yes absolutely. The curtain has been drawn.

It is a great shame that one cannot talk about Ukraine or Syria or Venezueal or wherever with ordinary people because they just don't know a better set of truths exist. But everyone knows about Gaza and Palestine. Anyone who walked through a UK University town on a Saurday has been seeing the peaceful demonstrations for decades.

Thank you Jonathan for using your voice as a journalist to speak out like you are about this🙏 I don't do a lot of social media, but the silence on this is deafening compared to how people were over Ukraine and I think a lot of that can be put down to how the public has been manipulated by the media in both cases.😪

But what is anyone doing?I am sick of listening to endless talking, endless opinion on this issue.CHILDREN are being starved by Israel.Action has to be taken.Join relief agencies,go to Gaza,do something.

You are right. But a careful analysis of the deceit gives us a deeper understanding of what is happening and better grafted arguments when we write our politicians.

Yes, which I have done—and I get standard replies back where they explain away their position. Still, we can only keep doing what is open to us😪

Same here. No time for despair.

Many people are doing everything they can as individuals, but when you are up against the power of some Western governments (all backed by the US/CIA) and the very powerful Western media, it is not easy for the basic situation to change. Israel is not letting relief agencies function properly.

I would only add that no such thing Israelis have shot and killed relief workers

What will that solve? It will only continue the cycle of death. It’s not the Jews BTW but the Zionists. The Zionists want you to blame the Jews, this is how they protect themselves and you fell for it.

Andy, am I hearing a bit of hubris in your voice, we won’t be distracted by the word Jew, this is about The wonderful People of Palestine getting their land back from the river to the sea.

I agree 100%

Zionists are Jews as well though. Did the Nazi Germans stopped being Germans because they’re nazi? No. Is it all Jews? No. But zionism is inherently Jewish.

It’s clear to me that Andy is trying to frame the slaughter of innocent Palestinians a bit more to his liking.

Great common sense reply

Many Jews are against Zionism and many Zionists are Christians. The Zionists have weaponized the term anti-semitism and use it to deflect blame. This is the trap you fell into. Jewishness is NOT the issue.

I would also add that even though NAZIs had an ideology of white supremacy, nobody would be stupid enough to label all white people “NAZIS”, even though most NAZIs were white.

Expand full comment

Strange that you say that since I made very clear not all Jewish people are Zionazis.

Expand full comment

Never said it was the issue, you’re the one being condescending about a trap no one is falling in.

Expand full comment

You fell into the trap by blaming it on Jews. There are more Zionist Christians than Jewish Zionists. Jews are not the problem, Zionism is.

Expand full comment

I never said Jews are the problem. But Zionism is inherently Jewish. It is a Jewish nationalist ideology created Jews, for Jews, and currently implemented by Jews. Are all Jews Zionists? No, but Zionism would not be possible without Jewish entitlement and without Jewish folklore about being gods chosen people and their ties to Palestinian land. Do we really have to deny it’s a Jewish problem? I don’t think so. Christians are Zionists because they have their own selfish deluded religious reason to do so. It doesn’t mean it’s not a Jewish problem that hijacked Jewish suffering though.
