The Children murdered in Southport yesterday at the hands of a 17 year-old Syrian refugee. The political establishment, BBC and other MSM usual suspects can't even bring themselves to acknowledge the tragedy in its true form - MURDER! All the headlines refer to the children as being "killed" - this is deliberate obfuscation. The entire incident is being managed and we the public are being patronised.
Are you muddling up the libellous claims TR made about a boy beaten up in a racist attack a few years ago on a school premises with this awful incident? My understanding is that the perpetrator was a home-groan. Glad to see the good people of Southport rallying around to put right the damage done to the mosque by racist thugs on the basis of false information. Hopefully they’ll be banged up for rioting whilst TR suns himself in Spain like the “patriotic” hypocrite he is. Or has already been arrested on Terror charges?

Facebook just removed my post sharing this excellent article. Apparently Facebook removed it because they consider it to be 'spam'. This is obviously utter nonsense. I disputed the removal but every time I do that I never get any response as to the decision, even though I get a screen saying "You'll hear back from us soon".
Over the past moth or so, I have been getting multiple posts about Israel/Palestine removed by Facebook's 'malgorithm': most of them were shares from Substack. I also had a share of an important Drop Site News article by Jeremy Scahill removed.
I guess we should be grateful our overlords are not using the army yet to impose their will (unless you have the temerity to protest this genocide in the streets) and are still hoping to do so via algorithm. I suspect they’ll soon need to move up the escalation ladder of pressure since, contrary to expectations, Americans are not coming round to Israel’s point of view.
Not to be mistaken, I respect foreign correspondents — and especially respect/admire those covering active war zones. But I still feel that much of Western ‘journalism’ is motivated more by a paycheck and publication rather than a genuine strive to challenge the big and bad powers that be: To truly comfort the afflicted while afflicting the comfortable in an increasingly unjust global existence.
At the very least, some revision of terminological representation is in order: While it remains “comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable,” who or what constitutes an “afflicted” and “the comfortable” has been altered.
For example, an “afflicted” of our contemporary news-media times needing comforting may be an owner of a multi-million-dollar home that’s worth too much, thus taxed higher, and he/she therefore desires tax respite.
Or, the new “afflicted” requiring news-media comforting may be the Israeli state when in the past it may have rightly been the Palestinians, as the latter resist having their ancestral lands gradually annexed and being cleansed from it, i.e. the figurative David versus Goliath.
Its also important to know and understand that both BBC and Facebook are part of a global mainstream media propaganda alliance, strategised by the US government's RAND Corp, then nominally established by the BBC, that goes under the Orwellian name of "The Trusted News Initiative"
The concept is that they all agree on the same western colonial government disseminated lies, tell the lies, keep telling the lies or sleight-of-hand mistruth, over and over (e.g. "unprovoked invasion" or "right to defend itself") and they in unison censor and wipe out any readers's comments or voices or user posts that debunk or question the lies.

I feel that genuine journalists with integrity would tender their resignations and publicly proclaim they can no longer help propagate their employer’s corrupted product, be it from the Right or Left.

You would really have to read it to believe it, especially since the Oct.7 Hamas attack on Israel.
