Funnily enough, I've joined the diaspora of "independent journalists" as a geopolitical opinion writer with the sole purpose of exposing the evil inherent in the "Anglo-American Empire", to use Carrol Quigley's book title as a descriptor.
Through my journey, I'm learning to write. I remain happily jealous of the talents of others like yourself, or Patrick Lawrence, or Chris Hedges, to inspire me to improve.
I regularly, thankfully cite your articles as they cross topics in which I believe the small readership I serve would take interest.
Thank U & all TRUE journalists for your integrity & courage in the face of mass media propaganda & the unconscionable corporate warlords & those that serve them! Critical thinking has led me, to be pejoratively called, an anti-vaxxer (and questioning the evidence for viruses led me to be suspended for 8 months from Twitter). It's easy to see why when one follows the money.
Compassion for animals has led me to be called woke. It's easy to see why when one follows the money.
Thank goodness for substack where views can be expressed and science can be teased apart.
Another tactic so often used is the memory hole; coverage of the neonazi assault of the Russian speakers in the Donbass in 2021 appeared in the (Daily) Metro, all to be quickly forgot in 2022 with the Ukraine painted as pure as the driven snow. Pointing out the MSM's own contradiction is also invaluable.
I can’t imagine life without independent journalism. You not only expose the lies we are told but also the dirty web of contacts and influences that lie behind the lies. You help us keep our BS detectors honed and our scepticism fully activated. Thank you.
