I beg to differ. I think many people have the opinion that ‘Israel’ has visited a terrible vengeance on the Palestinians because of the disgusting and indefensible behaviour of Hamas. The 7th October massacre by Hamas was appalling.

Not all Palestinians are ‘terrorists’ . The devastation of Gaza is difficult to see without wondering what did Netanyahu hope to gain by wholesale destruction. The Guardian is reporting facts, whether we agree with them or not. It is not antisemitic to feel that Israel might have overreacted.

True. Well said! Here in the US the split between domestic (USA) and Everything Else (US Empire) has clearly been demonstrated. Guess what, the Empire always wins.

I’m struggling with some of the details and it’s clear others have a better “grasp” than I have . What I get angry with is that much of the world including Britain and EU plus US have consciously for umpteen years looked the other way whilst governments in Israel have wreaked havoc and caused immense harm to the Palestinian population. We wring our hands , we can act and change the situation for both ?

Is it antisemitism to speak the truth about Israeli atrocity?

The US needs wars to keep their oligarchs in power. It’s a money/ power/control thing.

It doesn’t help that the US keeps setting red lines for Israel that are then ignored with impunity.

Bottom line: Editorially, the Guardian is completely pro Israel.

Guardian has also presented many other opinions, where they wrote how US is trying to shift the world order by acting like not-able-to into the Israel matters

I am aware that many see the huge influence of AIPAC... with their millions of millions, of even, more millions in outstretched tentacles in the form of American greenbacks, that shuts the mouths of those in Washington... And it must be happening in other Western power Nation states, because they are hushed and complicit too.

I observed that little, timid pipsqueak, the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, after slipping in that position, in the wake of chaos from his predecessor, had to take charge of a serious issue, and the outcome that favored Israel. His disposition changed after that. No longer was he this timid fellow adjusting to his new position, but was now charged to handle issues for Israel. It was, almost, childlike. I'm guessing, he enjoyed his "thank-you-check."

One last quick remark: Israel has been real savvy with the law. International, United States, & of course, their own. Not only knowing what laws they are breaking, but more importantly, how to respond when brought up. Spying on ICC/ICJ so they know ahead of time what issues are being addressed and investigated, so they can send people to the ICC/ICJ 's offices to inform them that the very same issues have got the attention of those in charge, and were planning their own in-houses investigation; just (because they are so nice) to bring it to their attention. So, now, they don't need to do anything because Israel has got it covered (up!).

I stopped subscribing to the Guardian when they threw Julian Assange under the bus, I haven’t read an article since. I truly believe it is just another main stream media propaganda tool for the British Intelligence Community. Just don’t read the convoluted lies and you’ll feel a lot happier with your self.

Your Zionism (and all the vileness associated with it) is clearly on show. Why are you not in a mental hospital?
