Neither PM Morrison, Dutton, nor Ms Payne of Australian govt. have any backbone to insist that Assange be returned to Australia and not crucified in the UK or US.

I'm quite tired of only hearing condemnations of the Assange miscarriage of justice. What the hell is anyone willing to do to actually do something more about it!!!

It's abhorrent and I feel so powerless to do anything. Most people are still stuck on the rape narrative and don't seem to want to know the truth.

Thank you for this article; Assange's suffering is both tragic and truly evil. Over the years of his mistreatment, I've felt a similarity to Mandela, yet doubt for a hopeful outcome.

Also, because both are journalists, I keep drawing comparisons with Jamal Khashoggi. If one poses the question: What's the difference between Saudi Arabia's treatment of Khashoggi and the Western Empire's treatment of Assange? the only reasonable answer is that Saudi Arabia's was quicker and cheaper.

Is there anything that can be done?
