Well, this is a grim thought.........that things are getting so bad in Europe that its in need of a new scapegoat..........and in this case can have one while also feeling virtuous for standing by the state of Israel (the last settler colonial enterprise). Things obviously aren't going so well for Europe if it's about support a genocidal regime (Hitler didn't have the news coverage we have now...so he and his Nazi cohorts had it easy) and target that regime's victims as the real problem.
We should perhaps remember, so many Arabs likely wouldn't be in Europe if we hadn't made life difficult for them in their countries of origin....and its not just Palestine that has suffered under western elites beliefs that they know better what's good for others and their countries. It is customary among first worlders though............to hate and demonize those they taken advantage of. And we all know the curse oil wealth has been for many in the Middle East.......sitting as they were on our oil resources.
Still, it is shocking that Israel can still export its sports teams around the world......you'd think with their latest losses in Lebanon that they'd be needed in the Army.
