Reports from the NYT pushing the rape and be-headings narrative was systematically debunked by Max Blumenthal in a brilliant piece on his website the Grayzone.

Chris Hedge also has an eye opening interview with an ex Israeli special forces soldier, Miko Peled, who provides a deep insight into the indoctrination, militarization and brainwashing of Israelis from a very young age.

The BBC has never been a genuine ‘public service broadcaster’, contrary to its claim to be such. It has always prioritised the interests of the established order and been its mouthpiece, thereby helping to protect - i.e. perpetuate - the established order’s control of our society. It highlights social issues otherwise, but not consistently and not with the sustained comprehensiveness that a remit to serve its funders should demand. It very rarely objectively, or comprehensively presents alternative political views. The public, wholly - and, incidentally, on pain of imprisonment if we refuse to do so - funds the BBC. What happened to ‘he who pays the piper calls the tune’ in this instance? The BBC is a key player in, and engineer of, how our society perpetuates the interests of the minority in control of it. We do continue to need a wholly public-service broadcaster to serve all of us, but what the BBC provides is not it. The fact that the BBC does make/commission some worthwhile drama, comedy and wildlife programmes and presents sporting coverage quite widely, does not mean that it serves, or represents, us well otherwise.

I am so outraged by the Israeli lies and willing western media to amplify them around the world! British and German TV and papers leading the charge- incorrectly, viciously, - tragically for the thousands and thousands of murdered babies, little girls , women old and young, and men of every age in GAZA ! Not ever mentioned are the yet much greater numbers of brutally injured kids and adults! "N E V E R A G A I N !" said that war criminal N'yahoo...unbearable to hear this despicable man abuse the meaning of the phrase!!

While he's saying this, his army is - D O I N G I T A G A I N !!! -

I looked up the Balfour Declaration. So the Palestinians suffered because the Ottoman Empire lost the War. The Palestinians were forced to lose their land to accommodate the Jews from Europe. Why were the Jews anxious to leave their European homes to settle in Palestine? Were the Jews unpopular in Europe?

The general image about the British public that I, an Indian share is they have become amoral to the extent that they care only about how their own livelihood fares. If Israel pays for the armaments to kill Palestinians and it helps the Brits that's all they care. To oppose Israel or hurt it in ways would then be hypocritical. That's also how the BBC sees it . Can someone suggest how the British economy could do better if it stops selling armaments to killer-regimes? My two penny suggestion is the Brits turn to carry out an actual Greening of the Deserts that harbour so many killer-regimes.

Perhaps a new precedent has to be set whereby media can also be tried by the ICC for disseminating false information leading to hatred and violence.

The Israeli government and military cares little for the safety of hostages. Many hostages were killed by Israeli forces when they indiscriminately attacked the Hamas fighters on 10/7. The current indiscriminate bombing of Gaza is killing hostages. Hamas may be more concerned about the safety of the hostages than is Israel.

It is what it is, you describe the conflict very well, the way I've seen it for the last 30 years. Some things never change.

Instead of relying on our 'national news channels', better to search out internal Israeli blogs and Twitter accounts. Many are run by Israeli Jews, or Israeli Jews/Palestinians, mainly in Israel and the West Bank.

At the moment, they have to be cautious, for fear of attacks - physical, and otherwise - but two or three I've managed to pick out seem to be reliable, having the 'ring of truth'.

It's chaotic and dangerous for anyone opposing the official Zionist line, but they're worth our support, even if it is only online. Moral support is better than no support.

Not all Zionists are Jewish. Not all Jews are Zionists.

I don't care what Hamas or Satana did or did not do on October 7th... it's completely irrelevant. Justified or not, Israel, a UN recognized state, not a terrorist group, has committed, and keeps committing, crimes against humanity for which its leaders need to pay the price, i.e. hanging at Nuremberg, as it as happened in the past.

We've heard the terms 'aiding and abetting' and war 'crimes' - and yet they are utterly meaningless when the biggest crooks not only get a vote about whether they should face trial, but they get to veto any attempts to bring their crimes to trial. Nations leaders, governments are nothing more than organised criminals - worse than the mafia or any hidden dark Web paedophile sickos.

Global mass action by ordinary citizens is needed, before the crooks take down our means of communicating.
