What do you expect the Genesis of Israel was one big lie including the biblical myth of an ancient Real Estate deal with God -Puhleez!

"How is it possible that a high ranking army official would give a command that so immediately and definitely endangers the life of so many civilians? It's just horrifying."

Blaming Hamas for the death of all these inocent civilians infuriates the rest of the Israeli population, and for that matter the Christian part of "the west" to the degree that genocide is ok with them. It's as simple as that.

Is it possible that these attacks were deliberate so that Netanyahu and his ilk could use them as an excuse to annihilate Gaza and all its civilians? I have always had this nagging thought that the October attacks were useful to Israel’s right wingers and Ultra Orthodox Jews who want a “pure Jewish “ Israel devoid of any Arab “pollution”.

Your citation does not support your assertion that missiles were deliberately fired at “dozens of cars” and “incinerating” Israeli hostages being taken to Gaza on 10/7. The Hareetz article states: “Around 12:00 P.M. on October 7, IDF helicopters strafed cars attempting to cross the border; there are unconfirmed indications that captive Israeli civilians were hit. “ This is about the level of “journalism” I have noticed you produce: unreliable, agenda-driven drivel. Also, Hareetz blames Hamas for the attacks on 10/7, nobody else. You forgot to cite those Hareetz articles.

We give Israel about $18 billion a year. Lots of that comes right back to politicians in the form of campaign contributions. AIPAC needs to be made persona non gratia. And for the love of Christ, no more dual citizens in Congress...that's just nuts.

There are two quite different philosophies or ideologies between Jewish-Zionist and Western-Christian. It may have to do with victimhood mentality or the struggle for survival (whether percieved or real). But simply put the western mind cannot condone killing of ones own for the sake of the nation. For the Jewish mind this is plausible and to many reasonable given their eternal confict with the nations. To the Western mind it is abhorrent.

Public support for Israel would reduce if people realized the goal of the Jewish leaders is not the survival of it's people but of the nation.

The gross spectacle of watching morally stunted individuals & nations perform intellectual gymnastics around a concept of "genocide" while witnessing the mass murder of 10,000+ innocent children makes me want to vomit? Regardless, of what these moral midgets want to label this slaughter as, if they had any moral compunction whatsoever they would be morally outraged at such a travesty rained-down on defenseless & blameless babies. What in Hell's name is the world coming to?

Who has standing to bring a complaint of Israel’s war crimes against Israelis before the ICJ? Or other adjudicators of international law? Or the UN?

Maayan Sherman, whose son Ron was taken hostage and killed in captivity, wrote on Facebook that the Defense Ministry removed the headstone on her son's grave. Sherman accused the IDF of causing her son's death last month with poison gas used in Gaza. On Wednesday, the IDF said that it is not clear what caused the death of Sherman and two other hostages.

As far as the claim of Hamas, systematic rape, I must say that the western media does not give up

many outlets have debunked the stories of Hamas mass rape however, the guardian saw fit to basically cut and paste the New York Times article that appeared a couple of weeks ago, with some minor embellishments, of course

Those in the media that don’t tell the whole truth, or omit facts and reality, is undoubtedly complicit with the ongoing genocide

Has anyone heard of this through western mainstream media? I hadn't heard that it's all over the Israeli media until this post.

"So how is it possible that the BBC and the rest of the western media keep revisiting the horrors of October 7 but never to raise these issues , even though they have been so prominent in the Israeli public space for many weeks?

The only possible answer is that western media outlets are consciously censoring this story because it directly conflicts with the West's ideological and strategic agenda. It raises disturbing questions about western complicity in genocide."

This story fascinates me. We cannot and will never know, obviously, all of what occurred on October 7th. But it is becoming ever clearer that 'friendly fire' is a large part of the equation.

More fascinating to me, though, is how quickly the mainstream Western narratives surrounding this day - the history leading up to it, the events of the day itself and the days since - have been challenged and begun to crumble, almost in real time.

I honestly think that the Israeli government believed their narcissism, inflamed rhetoric, gaslighting, and crushing violence would go unquestioned here, as they usually are. But the cries of antisemitism and invocations of the holocaust aren't working in the face of what we're seeing everyday on our TVs. The two do not compute to even the casual viewer, some pondering these issues for the first time, perhaps, and no matter how many university presidents they fire or online accounts they censor. What the Israeli government has gotten away with for decades is being broadly challenged and rejected. There's already been a hearing in the ICJ on genocide! Unthinkable even three months ago.

Horrible times. Interesting times. Hopefully leading to better times.

I am old as dirt, i remember natl guard murdering students at kent state, and all the terrorist activities since by the world terrorist state. The genocide in Palestine finished off any hope of change. I am now wide awake! A few groceries can wait , my friend in Gaza who is thankfully still alive, is drinking dirty sea water. I hope my small contribution can find him fresh water for his extended family today. I wish you well and hope in your lifetime, change could happen.

Pat this made me laugh out loud and reminded me of the line: "Your mama's so old, she farts rust". Thanks for the pick me up!

You must be consumed with worry regarding your friend in Gaza. My thoughts and prayers are with you! There are no words to describe this. None! And the sad part is none of this will ever change. I know it is a horrible thing to say but unless the USA and Israel finally face the consequences it will continue. As I have said elsewhere, I would gladly sacrifice my own life, if bombarding the US would put an end to this once and for all.

I agree and a real sacrifice i would gladly do. I think there will be no real resolution in my time left.

My friend is thirty, law degree but is hovering over nieces nephews, his mom is sick and having heart issues and able to dig themselves out a few times. Until recently, eating leaves for twenty days. I cringe when days go by and i hear nothing. Glad there was a chuckle to be had, scarce as hens teeth these days. As old ppl say.

I had friends in Aleppo and basically endured a very similar situation. Eventually they sadly succumbed because they were old and required medical care. It's a horrible situation which is an understatement. The truth is we no longer have any regard for human life I noticed this beginning to evolve during the last two decades. A politician is akin to a mental disorder.
