Thanks for writing this. I remember spending a day with friends, after Corbyn was elected leader, researching some of the most outrageous smears that The Guardian had written about Corbyn. Not one of them stood up to scrutiny. So some of us signed up as members of Labour, even only if to be able to resign in disgust once the media machinery forced Corbyn out of office with their lies. And that is exactly what happened.
